July 23 2008-The Executive Board has elected Dan Strunk, Wesleyan School, as our new President-Elect.  Please join us in welcoming Dan aboard.

June 30 2008-As President-Elect, Jon Dewitt will assume the role of President due to Waldo's departure.  A new President-Elect will be determined at the next GSTMA Executive Board meeting.

June 30 2008-Waldo Terrell, Sports Turf Manager - UGA, has taken a job in Cary, NC and will no longer be President of the Georgia Chapter.  As many of you know, Waldo has been instrumental in revitalizing the Georgia Chapter and will be dearly missed upon his departure.  We wish him the best of luck in his new position.

Jan. 20 2008-We are very proud of the GSTMA sponsored Student Challenge team that competed against the nations best at this year's STMA Conference.  This team finished the best of any UGA team in history, they finished 15th out of 37 teams.  So, if you see them around be sure to congratulate them on a job well done.

Dec. 28 2007-We are proud to announce that Jonathan Jones of Corbin Turf is our new Commerical Vice President.  Please join us in welcoming Jonathan aboard.
